Mark Irvingsen's film Chain Link, in which he played the starring role, won several international film festival awards and after a limited theatrical run is now available on DVD. He recently worked on two films as an ER doctor- Hold On Loosely and If I Tell You I Must Kill You. Of recent interest also was Miss Nobody with Kathy Baker and Leslie Bibb in which he played the dead drunk dad, Earl. As the detective Ringo in Absolute Evil costarring alongside David Carradine and directed by Ulli Lommel, he attended Berlinale for its world premiere. Other favorite roles include the fabled Big Bad Wolf in the award winning Falsehood which played at the Cannes International Film Festival; Bobby the white trash truck dude in Hold Up currently playing on HBO, and definitely Deputy Dino in the Sci-Fi channel horror comedy classic Mammoth. He is an Emmy nominated actor and was also nominated for best actor at Methodfest for his work in the aforementioned Chain Link. In his free time he enjoys writing silly bio blurbs that demonstrate his immaturity, confounding his girlfriend, constructing chocolate cacti for vacationing New Guinea tribesmen and throwing crashed computer hard drives at wild sky green parrots at Zuma Beach for increased cardiovascular benefit. www.irvingsen.com
